Penalosa siblings victorious in Macau

MANILA, Philippines (UPDATE) – Boxing siblings Dave and Dodie Boy Penalosa Jr. made successful conquests at the undercard of "Fist of Gold" that features a world title bout between Brian Viloria and Juan Francisco Estrada.

Dave scored a 2nd-round stoppage against Cheroenchai Sithsaithong at the Cotai Arena of the luxurious The Venetian Hotel.

The 22-year-old Pinoy first dropped the Thai in the dying seconds of round 1 before going for the finisher in the following frame.

Meanwhile, Dodie Boy had a more thrilling bout against Ngaotawan Sithsaithong.

After being dropped in the 1st round, Dodie Boy retaliated with a powerful left straight to send Ngaotawan to the canvas midway the 2nd round.

In the 3rd round, Dodie Boy connected with a crushing blow to the body that forced his Thai foe to collapse face down.

The bout ended 2 minutes and 54 seconds in the 3rd round.

"Fist of Gold" is featuring Brian Viloria’s WBO/WBA flyweight title defense against Juan Francisco Estrada.

The main header will be Zou Shiming’s pro debut against Eleazar Valenzuela.

"Fist of Gold" will be aired locally on ABS-CBN Channel 2 on Sunday, starting at 10:15 a.m.
