Political dynasties in the Philippines

‘In this second list of dynasts are the Gordons, Laurels, Lucmans, Magsaysays, Macapagals, Mangudadatus, Marcoses, and Lim-Siojos.’
THIS second list of some prominent dynasts or members of political families included the Gordons of Olongapo City, Laurels of Batangas, Lucmans of Lanao del Sur., Magsaysays of Zambales, Macapagals of Pampanga, Mangudadatus of Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao, Marcoses of Ilocos Norte, and Lim-Siojos of Bulacan and Manila. The Magsaysay, Marcos, Laurel, and Lim-Siojo-Mercado families all go back to the early 1900s.
